“UNITED WE STAND” “United We Stand” will be finally shown tonight. “SUNDOWN” One of the greatest pictures ever brought to the screen, “Sundown, will be shown tomorrow 7 night. It tells in a most graphic manner a story whicn must make an imediate appeal. Many of the scenes are of a most tense character and are made the most of by the brilliant acting of some of the greatest of artists engaged in the picture industry. The thrills and the heart interest are cleverly interwoven and provide a presentation of exceptional merit. The love theme is cleverly conceived and excellently carried out, adding in a most appreciative manner to a most inspiring picture. From start to finish there is not a dull moment in the story, which ends on a most sympathetic note. A special dispensation from the United States Army was necessary to obtain authentic military rifles and machine guns for battle scenes. All Hollywood studios have small arsenals, but, since the national emergency was declared, all serviceable weapons have been commandeered by military authorities. Gene Tierney is starred in this romantic adventure story of modern Africa, together with Bruce Cabot, George Sanders, Harry Carey, Joseph Calleia, and Sir Cedric Hardwicke.
