NEW ZEALAND SUBMARINE COMMANDER. SUCCESS IN MEDITERRANEAN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day. 11.45 a.m. LONDON. June 25. Lieutenant L. E. Herrick, D.S.C., R.N., of Hastings, is named in an Admiralty communique as being one of the ten submarine commanders who have sunk 13 Axis ships and damaged seven others in the Mediterranean.
