BALKAN “REALITIES”
AS SEEN BY NAZI PUBLICIST (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 920 a.m. ZURICH, June 25. Rudolf Kircher, chief editor of the “Frankfurter Zeitung,” following upon a tour of the Balkans, writes: “I learned the disappointing fact that a’ majority of the Greeks live in the illusory hope of a British-American invasion. The Greeks refuse to acknowledge reality. The Turks are determined to remain neutral, but North African events had a great propaganda effeqt in Turkey, where- the Press tactlessly has damaged Turkish-German relations.”
The semi-official Turkish newspaper, “Aksam,” said Turkey’s relations with Britain and America in no way warrant expectations that Turkey will abandon her neutrality.
