WAIRARAPA CLUB MEETING AT AKURA ON SUNDAY DRAW FOR EVENTS ANNOUNCED. The Wairarapa Coursing Club will hold a meeting at the Akura Plimpton on Sunday commencing at 1.45.p.m. Dogs from Auckland', Wellington, Hastings, Dannevirke, Wellington and Masterton will compete. The judge will be Mr W. L. Jensen. The following is the draw for the two events to be decided —the Open Stake and the New Zealand St. Leger: Open Stake: Desire’s Pride meets Lady Gail; China’s Hope meets Desert Gold; Kitty Hawk meets Merry Footsteps; Royal Step meets Southern Cross; The Admiral meets Stormy Footsteps: Spitfire Joe meets Ulla Marie; Phantom Gold meets Cyclone; Soviet Union meets Tracer Bullet.
