STRIKE ENDED
AMERICAN COAL MINERS UNION ORDERS MEN BACK TO WORK. GOVERNMENT CONTROL WANTED LONDON, June 22. The United States coal strike has 'ended. The United Mine Workers’ Policy Committee has ordered the miners back to work. The miners have stated that they will work under the direction of the Secretary of the Interior and Fuel Controller (Mr H. Ickes). This arrangement will last until October 31. ______
