SYKES'Sf S SYKES’S £ and Wharves x // / |<^f #sSk For a small country with a little more than a million and a half people, New Zealand can well be proud of the excellent w^iarves harbour facilities possessed by its many ports. These are great national assets, which are doubly valuable under war conditions. Out of the savings conserved by their Society, members of the A.M.P. have helped considerably in financing the develop- ‘ ment of. New Zealand’s port facilities. The A.M.P. Society takes a natural pride in the fact that, over the years, its members (who own it) have so built up its strength that it now has nearly £15,000,000 invested in New Zealand National and Local Government Loans. In addition it has placed at the Government’s disposal for War purposes nearly Three Million pounds in New Zealand. The Society has now lent over £51,000,000 to the Australian and New Zealand Governments and is adding to this total about £500,000 every month. B W ® SOCIETY "A sure friend in uncertain times” .
