FOOD STORE EMPLOYEES
EXECUTED IN STALINGRAD, FOR SELLING ESSENTIAL GOODS TO SPECULATORS. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, 11.55 a.m.) LONDON, June 20. A Moscow message states that a firing squad executed two Stalingrad food store employees for selling bread, sugar, soap and other essential commodities intended for distribution to the population to .speculators. They also issued counterfeit ration cards. Other men involved in the charges were sentenced to imprisonment for terms of ten and twelve years.
