DOMINION SUBSCRIPTIONS TOTAL OVER £10,000,000 WELLINGTON DISTRICT FIGURES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The* Dominion total for the Third Liberty Loan reached £10,838,600 yesterday, the day’s investments being £698,450 from 2139 subscribers. The total number of subscribers is now 12,117, but the loan organisation aimed to secure the support of 200,000. The average per subscriber on the present total is approximately £895. There is still £24,161,400 to be subscribed before the close of the campaign, approximately £1,000,000 a day. The Wellington district grand total up to Wednesday night (latest figure available) was £1,333,155, of which £126,130 was invested on Wednesday. The metropolitan total, which is included in the district’s, is now £1,164,876.
