POWER ECONOMY
ACTION BY MASTERTON SHOPS.
Meeting the urgent request made for economy in the use of electric power, the W.F.C.A. Ltd. and C. Smith’s Ltd. have- decided to close their premises during the tea hour from 5 p.m. to 6 p.m. each Friday. The premises will be re-opened from 6 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. . Messrs Hugo and Shearer Ltd. will close at 5 o'clock on Friday nights during the present power shortage, instead of at 6 o’clock as formerly proposed.
