COMMUNISTS IN BRITAIN
AFFILIATION APPLICATION. REJECTED BY LABOUR PARTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) LONDON. June 16. The conference of the British Labour Party today rejected by a card vote of 1,950.000 to 712.000 a motion recommending acceptance of the British Communist Party's application for affiliation to the Labour Party.
The result was loudly acclaimed. The Communists showed great interest in the conference and crowded the balconies of the meeting place.
