OBITUARY

MRS R. STEWART. The death occurred last night of Mrs Alice May Stewart, of 419 Queen Street, Masterton. She was born in Brankholm, Tasmania, 60 years ago, and came to New Zealand in 1917, when she married Mr R. Stewart. She had lived in Masterton ever since.

Mrs Stewart is survived by her husband and one son, Rupert Stewart, and one daughter, Mrs K. C. Kenward, besides one grandchild. The funeral will take place on Friday, leaving the Chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service, commencing at 2 p.m., for the Masterton Cemetery.
