MASTERTON STOCK SALE
PRICES REPORTED FIRM. Prices were firm at the Masterton stock sale today, when keen competition was shown by a fair attendance of buyers. Some early prices were: — Light fat wethers, 265, 275; good fat ewes, 17s 6d, 18s; light fat ewes, 13s 6d, 14s; fat lambs, heavy, 255; medium lambs, 18s to 21s; light lambs, 15s; light b.f. maidens, 20s; fat b.f. ewes, 16s.
