TWELVE AWRE JAPANESE SHIPS INCLUDING DESTROYER AND BIG TRANSPORT. GOOD WORK BY AMERICAN SUBMARINES. LONDON. June 16. TWELVE MORE JAPANESE SHIPS IN PACIFIC AND FAR EASTERN WATERS HAVE BEEN SUNK BY AMERICAN SUBMARINES. The vessels sunk include a destroyer, a large transport and five mediumsized cargo vessels. Another Japanese destroyer and two transports were damaged.
