NEW INFAMY

AGAINST JEWS IN HOLLAND. JOINT PROTEST BY CHURCH LEADERS. LONDON, June 11. The Germans have started sterilising Jews in Holland, according to Reuters Stockholm correspondent. The first victims were the Jewish husbands of childless mixed marriages. Jews were given the choice of deportation to Poland or sterilisation. Several hundreds who were taken from' Westerbork camp to Amsterdam were told to make their choice. Dutch church leaders have sent a joint protest to the German Commissioner, Dr. Seyss-Inquart, indignantly demanding the cessation of the practice. Dutch doctors have unanimously refused to collaborate in “this new infamy.”
