AIR WARFARE
ON THE EASTERN FRONT RUSSIANS STRIKING HARD AT LANDING GROUNDS. MANY ENEMY PLANES DESTROYED. LONDON, June 10. Operations along the Russian front are still mainly in the air. The Russian air force is striking at enemy airfields and has destroyed many aircraft on the gn'mnd. The Germans lost heavily when they sent seventy planes in daylight to attack a base south-east of Lening’rad.
