FEATHERSTON
TEA FOR SOLDIERS JUNIOR PATRIOTIC COMMITTEE. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Junior Patriotic Committee entertained a number of soldiers at tea in the Town Hall on Monday night. The tables, which were set out in the hall, were beautifully decorated with Iceland poppies and greens. The tables were well supplied with sucking pig, lamb, poultry, salads, potatoes, trifle, jelly and plum, pudding. Lieut. Malcolm and Captain Ashton thanked the committee for their hospitality.
Each guest was presented with a packet of cigarettes.
