ON JAPANESE IN BURMA MADE BY AMERICAN & R.A.F. PLANES. • RAILWAY & OTHER TARGETS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day. 10.42 a.m.) RUGBY, June 7. A New Delhi communique says American bombers, in the past two days, have made widespread raids in Burma, including attacks on railway installations, buildings, engine sheds and transport at Mandalay, Monywa, Sagaing and elsewhere. All the American planes returned. An India communique reports that the R.A.F.,-without loss, attacked objectives in the Kalemgo area and bombed Japanese troop positions in Burma.
