IN CHINA AS GREAT ALLY. DECLARED BY GENERAL STILWELL. (Received This Day, 11.45 a.m.) CAIRO, June 6. General Stilwell, commander of the American forces in China, expressed optimism and complete satisfaction regarding activities within his own theattre of war, to which he is returning after- attending the conferences in Washington. He said: "I am certain of one thing—as time goes on we shall have more reason to be proud of our great ally, China.”
