NOW BEING REPAID.

THREE MILLION HOUSES WRECKED IN BRITAIN.

(Received This Day, 12.50 p.m.) LONDON, June 6.

A Ministry of Health official stated that air raids had damaged nearly three million houses in Britain. About 150,000 houses, which were wrecked, had to be pulled down. A speeding up of operations will result in 20,000 houses being repaired in 1943, at a cost of £4,000,000.
