At the Wellington Hospital last week the death occurred of Miss Margaret Ross, of Lower Hutt, and formerly of Carterton, as the result of an accident. The death occurred at Featherston yesterday of Mrs Ivy TereS’a Holland, wife of Mi’ J. W. Holland, Postmaster, at the age of 52 years. The following candidates have passed the St. John Ambulance Brigade’s proficiency examination (women’s division):—Zena Gilliland, Joan Douglas, Lesley Blick, Noelene Spackman, Margaret Millward, Jean Graham, June Grant, Noeline Dewar, Joyce Lantech, and Claire Harrington,
