GERMAN AIRCRAFT

SIX DESTROYED OVER FRANCE & BRITAIN FOUR BY GROUND DEFENCES. SPITFIRE LOST IN ATTACK. ON E-BOATS. LONDON, June 4. R.A.F. fighters based in Britain today destroyed two German aircraft, one of them over Northern France. The other was destroyed when German fighter-bombers raided a town on Ihe south-east coast. Four more enemy planes were shot down by the ground defences.

This afternoon Spitfires damaged three enemy E-boats off ihe Dutch coast. One fighter did not get back.
