MORE REPORTS ON CAMPS IN AXIS COUNTRIES CIVILIAN INTERNEES IN MALAYA. FURTHER LISTS RECEIVED. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. The Prisoners of War Inquiry Office headquarters has received cabled information regarding an official visit to Stalag VII B, carried out in March. General clothing conditions have improved considerably. Prisoners in working detachments are now provided with two suits and old suits are constantly washed, repaired and reissued. The German authorities have advised that repair workshops have been established ■in all camps and camp commanders have instructions that all repair material supplied must be used exclusively for prisoners. From Italy comes advice that shoe repair tools are available in prison camps and that the International Red Cross, Geneva, supplies materials to all camps. Notification has been received that Camp PG 47, PM 3,200 Italy, is situated at Piacenza, just south of Milan. Two lists of civilian internees in Ghangi Camp, Singapore, and other Malayan camps, have been received and circulated to Red Cross and St John centres, where they may be inspected. A revised map showing the location of camps in Germany and Italy has been published and will be posted to next of kin within a week or ten days. Kit bags oi' articles of a similar nature included in next of kin quarterly parcels must not have any lettering or numbers stencilled on them. This applies also to flour bags for wrapping. The clean portion must be used. ~' a
