CHURCH SERVICES

The Holy Communion will be celebrated in St. Matthew’s Church, Masterton, at 8 a.m. and 11 a.m. tomorrow and evensong at 7 p.m., Archdeacon Rich being the preacher, and at Taueru at 2.30 p.m. Mr N. W. Ninnes will conduct the evening service at Kuripuni. The Rev. G. H. Goodman will preach at

the Masterton Methodist Church tomorrow and at Wangaehu at 2 p.m. The Young Men’s Mission Band will conduct the services at Kuripuni. r The Lansdowne Presbyterian Church ser- I vices at 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. tomorrow will be conducted by the Rev. David McNeur. Services will also be held at Rangitumau at 1.30 p.m. and at Kopuaranga at 2.45 p.m. The Church of Christ will hold a service in the Women’s Division rooms in King Street tomorrow morning. Sunday School will meet at 10 a.m.

The Rev. J. Cumming will preach in the morijing at the Baptist Church when the Communion will be observed. In the evening Mr W. Teeboon will conduct the service which will be followed by the usual “friendly hour” to which service men and visitors are cordially invited. Tomorrow afternoon a special service will be held from 3 o’clock to 4 o'clock in .the Ruhamah Gospel Hall. At 7 o’clock a bright Gospel message will be delivered. On Monday bright and helpful services will be held, commencing at 10.30 a.m., 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. TJie Rev. J. M. Simpson, 8.A., will conduct the Knox Church services tomorrow. At 11 a.m. his subject will be “Our Arisen and Ascended Lord,’’ and at 7 p.m. “Strong in the Lord of Hosts.”

Major and Mrs Stone will conduct the services at the Salvation Army Hall tomorrow morning, afternoon and evening.
