IN JAPANESE-OCCUPIED ASIATIC AREAS MENTION OF UNDEFINED PLAGUE. WITH MALARIA & CHOLERA. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) NEW YORK, June 3. The Office of War Information heard the Saigon and Bangkok radios reporting outbreaks of malaria, cholera and an undefined •* plague in various parts of Japan-ese-occupied countries. The Bangkok radio said malaria and cholera had broken out in a number of cities in Northern Thailand and that the Japanese had sent 22,000 pounds of quinine after several requests.
