CATERING CONTROL
BRITISH BILL GIVEN THIRD READING. IN THE HOUSE OF LORDS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 10.0 a.m.) RUGBY, June 3. The Government's Catering Wages Bill, which in its early stages provoked vigorous opposition, was given a third reading in the Hou?e of Lords today. Several amendments by opponents of the Bill were not moved and one, providing for inquiries to be made by a commission into the means of meeting the requirements of the public, was accepted on behalf of the Government.
