Owing to- the very large field, the Jervois Handicap on the first day of the Auckland Racing Club’s winter meeting at Ellerslie on Saturday has been divided into two separate races. Provision has had to be made for divisions in both these races, and also in the Cornwall Handicap and the Members’ Handicap.
