“KIWI SAGA”

AND “WE SAW IT HAPPEN.” WAR BOOKS OF INTEREST TO NEW ZEALANDERS. (N Z.E.F. Official News Service.) CAIRO, May 31. Two books of particular interest to New Zealanders, which were published in Cairo, are enjoying satisfactory sales in the Middle East. The first, which has been in keen demand since it was produced two months ago, is, “We Saw It Happen,” which contains 32 reproductions of the work of the war artist, Captain Peter Mclntyre, whose paintings enjoy a wide reputation. The latest addition to the war books is “Kiwi Saga,” written by a New Zealand artillery sergeant, Martin Uren, whose autobiographical story covers the activities of men of the N.Z.E.F. in various Middle East campaigns.
