GREEK NAVY
PROMINENT PART TAKEN IN SMASHING ENEMY IN TUNISIA. ADMIRAL CUNNINGHAM’S CONGRATULATIONS. (British Official Wireless.) (Received, This Day, 10.30 a.m.) RUGBY, May 31. The Commander-in-Chief in the Mediterranean, Admiral Cunningham, sent the Commander-in-Chief of the Greek Fleet a message of congratulation on the prominent part it took in smashing the enemy in Tunisia . The Greek Commander-in-Chief replied that the Greeks would continue to do their utmost in the common struggle until final and total victory. Several destroyers of the Greek Navy saw service during the North African campaign and are still taking part in operations in the Mediterranean.
