SOLDIERS’ COMFORTS
SUCCESSFUL CARD PARTY. (“Times-Age” Special.) The Borough ladies’ soldiers’ comforts committee held its monthly flag 500 card party in the Anglican Hall on Saturday night, the gathering being most successful. The games were conducted by Mr L. C. Christie. Miss M. Anderson (president) presented the prizes to the following winners:—Mesdames W. H. Whetton, McAlister and G. Murray-Aynsley. ~
The hostesses were Mesdames Simmers and Murray-Aynsley. The prizes were donated by Miss E. Simmers, Mrs Simmers and Miss Sybil Green.
