KOPUARANGA
WOMEN’S INSTITUTE DANCE IN AID OF SOLDIERS' PARCEL FUND. (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at a dance held in the Kopuaranga Hall on Saturday night by the Women’s Institute. Bright music was supplied by Mr West and an extra was played by Mrs Reside. A Monte Carlo waltz was won by Miss J. Brophy and Mr S. J. Clarke and the duties of M.C. were capably carried out by Mr B. Fenemor. A home made supper was served. The proceeds are for the Women’s Institute fund for sending parcels to men overseas. Drama Classes. The drama classes arranged by the Women's Institute and conducted by Miss Stocker are being followed with interest by those taking part. It is stated that the classes are proving enjoyable and instructive.
