OBITUARY

MRS JOHN LONGSTAFF. The death occurred today at the Palmerston North Hospital of Mrs Williamina Longstaff, widow of the late Mr John Longstaff, formerly of Masterton. Mrs Longstaff, who lived in Masterton some years ago, was respected by a wide circle of friends. Many years ago she was a housekeeper at Mr A. P. Whatman’s residence, “Panama.” Her husband died many years ago. In recent years Mrs Longstaff had resided in Feilding. The funeral will take place on Friday, leaving the chapel of Hyde’s Funeral Service, Ltd., following a service at 2 p.m., for the Masterton cemetery.
