ATTACKED BY THE ALLIES IN BURMA WIDELY EXTENDED AIR OPERATIONS, HITS SCORED ON ENEMY SHIPS. LONDON, May 24. The Anglo-American air offensive continues in Burma, with attacks on objectives at Rangoon, Brome and Toimgoo, the Japanese-controlled railway system and on shipping.

Two Japanese ships bound for Rangoon were hit. Once again the Japanese failed to bring down, a single Allied aircraft.
