THEFT OF CYCLES
MASTERTON WOMAN CONVICTED. SALES TO SECOND-HAND DEALERS. Ira Doreen Brown, a married woman, charged with the theft of three bicj’cles, was convicted and ordered to come, up for sentence on August 26 when she appeared before Mr H. P. Lawry, S.M.. in the Masterton Magistrate’s Court this morning. Senior Sergeant C. Murphy said the value of the stolen cycles amounted to £3l 10s. The cycles had been sold to second hand dealers in Masterton for £l7 10s. Mrs Brown, he said, was before the Court on May 11 on charges relating to the theft of two cycles, when she was admitted to probation for three years.
