NEW FIRE STATION
“MANY BOSSES TO PLEASE.” ACCORDING TO MASTERTON BOARD CHAIRMAN. Referring to the proposed erection of a new fire station at Masterton to replace the present earthquake damaged building the chairman of the Masterton Fire Board, Mr W. Kemp, said last night that it would be some time before anything definite was arrived at. Mr F. Lambourn: “There has been a lot of humbugging about. Its all nonsense.”
“As a fire board we have many bosses to please,” observed Mr Kemp.
