RED CROSS SOCIETY (“Times-Age” Special.) There was a good attendance at the euchre tournament held in the Red Cross Society’s rooms yesterday afternoon. Mrs Habib and Miss Eva Card tied for the prize. Miss M. Elder was the competition winner. Donations were received from Misses Viles, Eva Card and Goodrich. Personal. Miss N. Shepherd is home from Dunedin for the term holidays. Mrs Sutherland, Kawhia, is visiting her sisters, Mesdames Edwards and Nicol. Mr and Mrs Burnes, Mr and Mrs McMillan and Mr and Mrs Crabtree, Lower Hutt, are the guests of Mrs L. McKenna, Pahautea. COSY THEATRE “TWO YANKS IN TRINIDAD.” Plenty of action and laughter is depicted in “Two Yanks in Trinidad,” showing at the Cosy Theatre on Wednesday night. Pat O'Brien, Brian Donlevy and Janet Blair take the leading parts.
