AT LONG RANGE

PHOTOS OF ENEMY-OCCUPIED TERRITORY TAKEN FROM DOVER CLIFFS. OBJECTS OVER 30 MILES AWAY CLEARLY SHOWN. (By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright) (Received This Day, Noon.) LONDON, May 17. Photographs of enemy-occupied territory, taken from the cliffs of Dover by a special telescopic camera, appear in the “Daily Express” today. ’ They show country ten miles inland from the French coast. Churches, houses, military huts, pillboxes, trenches and other fortifications can be seen clearly. The farthest object was more than 30 miles from the camera site. The camera, which is ten feet long, is fitted with heavy infra-red plates. The photographs have great military value.
