NEW DATE FOR PRESENTATION OF BUDGET. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON This Day. Though it was the original intention of the Minister of Finance, Mr Nash, to present the Budget in the House of Representatives on Thursday night, he stated yesterday that its presentation would now be deferred. He had consulted with the Prime Minister on the matter and the Budget would not be brought down till the night of Thursday, May 27.
