The national income of the Dominion of Canada rose 24 per cent during the first quarter of 1943 as against the corresponding period in 1942. During the fiscal year ended March 31 the national income, according to the tentative computation of the Bureau of Statistics was 7,878,000,000 dollars, compared with 6,793,000,000 dollars in the preceding fiscal year.
