Black Plato was at long odds at the Egmont meeting last Saturday and although it was the first time out he won like an old hand. Manpower, who was also considered to run prominently came to light in good style and returned his supporters a good double figure return. Should Run Well. Foxola should make a good showing in the Makaraka Handicap at Te Aroha tomorrow. Kevin in Form. Kevin will probably be a warm favourite with the public at the Gore meeting tomorrow after his win the previous week.
