BOOK DRIVE

FOR MEN SERVING OVERSEAS. COLLECTION IN MASTERTON. Arrangements have been made for Mr C. W. Gaze, secretary of the Masterton Y.M.C.A., to act as collector for the 1943 Victory Book Drive for troops overseas. The drive is to commence on May 17 and will extend over the following fortnight. Various Masterton organisations have been approached, and asked to give their assistance. It is emphasised that the books most desired are those of fairly recent publication and in good condition. Quality is considered to be more important than quantity. Books may be left at the Y.M.C.A.
