APPEAL BOARD SITTING WAIRARAPA CASES. SEVERAL ADJOURNMENTS MADE. The No. 2 Armed Forces Appeal Board (Napier) commenced a sitting in the Masterton Courthouse today. There were present: Messrs H. B. Mr Lusk said that steps were being taken along the lines indicated by Mr Burridge. Mr Kebbell said that the Army would not release the unfit men.
In the following cases the name of the person lodging the appeal is given in parentheses: Adjourned: Kenneth Frederick Joblin, farmer (Mrs Annie Joblin), to August, 1943; Leonard Alexander Burch, farm labourer (Basil Leonard Burch), to October 1, 1943; Herbert Hugh Williams, farm labourer (Herbert Linscott Williams), to October 1, 1943; Frederick Desmond Alleyne Meredith, shepherd (Wm.
