CONTINUED ADVANCE
NORTH OF KUBAN RIVER MADE BY SOVIET , FORCES AGAINST STRONG GERMAN RESISTANCE. RED AIR FORCE BLASTING COMMUNICATIONS. LONDON, May 10. The latest reports from Moscow indicate that the Russians have made further progress along the north bank of the Kuban River. The Germans are throwing in tanks in an attempt to halt the Russian attacks, but the Soviet forces continue to press forward.
Large-scale patrol activity 'is reported along the rest of the front. The Red Air Force is blasting enemy communications from Lake Ilmen to the Donetz.
