OFFICER PRESUMED DEAD. ANOTHER NOW SAFE. The following naval casualties are reported:— REEVES, John H„ Sub-Lieut. (A), R.N.Z.N.V.R., missing, presumed killed. Mrs C. W. Reeves, Haumoann, Napier (m.). Reclassification. PIPE. Edward C., Sub-Lieut. (A), R.N.Z.N.V.R., previously reported missing, now safe. AIR CASUALTIES SMITH, Vernon R., Sergt., killed on active service. Mr R. B. Smith, 183 Grey Street, Hamilton (f.).
