REGENT THEATRE
DOUBLE PROGRAMME. “Secrets of the Lone Wolf,” starring the gay Warren William and the brilliant new artist, Ruth Ford, will be shown tonight. It is an exciting drama in which the Lone Wolf makes a deal. The other picture is “Blondie’s Blessed Event,” an excellent comedy, and the best of the series. “WHO DONE IT?”
Tomorrow night’s programme will be headed by “Who Done It?” an excellent comedy featuring' Bud Abbott and Lou Costello. It is said to be the best picture these two fun-makers have produced.
SUNDAY PICTURES. Commencing on Sunday next at 8.15 p.m. Sunday pictures will be shown at the Regent Theatre once a fortnight. On Sunday there will be a special screening of “Who Done It?” The Sunday night pictures will be for members of the armed forces only, but they may bring two friends with them. There will be no reservation of seats and the usual prices will be charged. The showing of pictures on Sundays has been undertaken at the request of the local civic authorities.
