AIRCRAFT CRASH
AT NORTH ISLAND STATION TWO MEN KILLED. TWO OTHERS SUFFER INJURIES. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, This Day. When an aircraft of the Royal New Zealand Air Force crashed on its takeoff from a North Island air station this morning, two occupants lost their lives and two others were injured, necessitating admission to hospital. The personnel concerned were: — Killed. Sergeant Wiliam Routledge Nicholls. (Mother, Mrs S. L. Nicholls, Dexter Avenue, Mt, Eden, Auckland.) Flight Sergeant Ronald Stanley Triner. (Wife, Mrs S. I. Triner, Mewburn Avenue, Mt .Eden, Auckland.) Injuries and Severe Shock. Flying Officer Bryan Cranstone Scott. (Mother, Mrs D. K. Scott, care of Bank of New Zealand, Nelson.) Flight Sergeant Robert Edward Carson Black. (Mother, Mrs J. Black, Waharoa Road, Matamata.)
