TONE OF MARKET. AT MASTERTON STOCK SALE. The Associated Auctioneers report as follows on their weekly sale' at Masterton yesterday:—There was an average attendance c.' buyers The tone of the market showed p. firming tendency, and a total clearance was: effected under the hammer to local buyers. The following are some of the realisations:— Fats: Fat wethers, 27s 6d. 275, 26s 9d, 26s 6d to 255; fat light b.f. tooths, 17s 3d, 17s; fat ewes, 16s Id, 16s; unfinished, 14s; fat lambs, 20s: light, 17s 7d, 16s 7d. Stores: Two-tooth wethers. 225, 21s Id, 19s Id; m.a. ewes. r.w. Southdown rams, 16s, 9s 9d to 5s 9d: b.f. lambs,- 13s 6d, 13s 2d; small, 6s 6d: w.w. larnbs, good. 14s- Id; medium. Ils lOd. Us 6d to Ils Id; small. 9s J.Od to 8s Id; shorn lambs, 13s 6d : ewe lambs, lls 3d, Us- 2d to 10s 7d; small, 8s 9d: m.s. lambs, small, 5s 6d. Cows, ex-dairy, £3 2s. Model A Ford, £47 10s.
