U-BOAT FLEET
INCREASING IN NORTH ATLANTIC BUT WILL BE DRIVEN FROM SEA. CANADIAN ADMIRAL’S PREDICTION. (British Official Wireless.) (Received This Day, 11.0 a.m.) RUGBY, May 5. “The German U-boat fleet in the North Atlantis undoubtedly is incteasing greatly, but the combined attacking power of the Canadian and British navies and air forces will eventually drive the enemy from the sea—much sooner, perhaps, than we dare hope,” said Admiral L. W. Murray, the recentlyappointed Canadian Commander-in-Chief in the North Atlantic, according to an Ottawa message.
