DEATH SENTENCES
ON ANTLNAZI AUSTRIANS TWENTY-ONE EXECUTED IN APRIL. MAKING 138 SINCE END OF NOVEMBER. (By Telegraph—Press Association— Copyright) LONDON, April 30. Twenty-one Austrians were sentenced to death in April for high treason, says the Independent French Agency. They were charged with publishing and distributing anti-Ger-man propaganda and organising sabotage groups. This brings the number of Austrians executed since the end of November to 138, counting only those whose death sentences have been published.
