Foote Dunedin, were among New Zealand ratings in the destroyer Albrighton, which with the Goathland, torpedoed two German supply ships in the English Channel this week. The destroyers steamed unnoticed through the merchantmen’s escorts and then released torpedoes at point-blank range. It was a very lively action.
