WHOLESALE MASSACRE OF CHINESE. AFTER BOMBING OF TOKIO. (By Telegraph—Press Association —Copyright) SAN FRANCISCO, April 29. Japanese troops slaughtered every man, woman and child in the coastal areas of China where the American flyers landed after the bombing of Tokio, declared the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr Morgenthau. He said that the information was contained in a cablegram from Generalissimo Chiang Kai-shek, revealing that Japanese troops attacked the coastal areas, reproducing on a wholesale scale the horrors of Lidice, which was the Cech village blotted out by the Gestapo.
